What happens during the appointment?

Depending on your needs, the menopause clinician will see you either within a group or 1-1 setting. The group consultations are run as face to face clinics and there will be other women with similar menopausal symptoms in the group. These consultations takes place over a 2 hour period.

The 1-1 appointments are offered to those patients with a more complex health history. These consultations last for up to 25 minutes and can be completed either face to face or virtually.

What happens after the appointment?

We will provide you with a personalised treatment plan. This may include lifestyle advice, prescription recommendations, or suggested changes to existing medication. Your GP will receive a copy of this treatment plan. You will also be offered review appointments as necessary.
