Introducing normal magic
ECPCN are delighted to welcome normal magic to East Cornwall. We will be working with them over the next six months to perfect the hub (Liskeard) and spoke (practices) model and will of course keep you up to speed with developments.
Normal magic are a team of child and young peoples mental health nurses providing opportunities for parents, carers, children and young people to explore the possibilities of improving their mental health.
Normal magic provides a help seeker led, strengths-based framework for this exploration. A framework that builds on individual and unique ways of balancing mood and looking after mental health, through the good times and the bad times. Even small changes can bring moments of balance to mood, build resilience and improve overall mental health. Improving mental health sometimes needs all the help and care it can get.
If you are concerned about new or emerging mental health needs of your child or young person, or you simply want to review and improve your families mentally healthy lifestyle, we are here to explore opportunities and possibilities with you.
Our team offers personal wellbeing conversations and interventions across the age range of 0-18 years.
We are easily accessible, we are free to patients in the surgery, we hold no threshold and no referral process. If you have concerns you can access an appointment in the same way you access your GP, simply call the surgery and speak to the reception team who can help you make an appointment with us.
